Home helper dispatch services (to support independent living), light assistance with daily tasks, leasing welfare devices, provision of devices for everyday living, telephone rental services, rental of emergency dispatch device, food distribution service, drying/disinfecting bedding, consultation concerning senior citizens with dementia and tele-nurse consultation.

Living Environment Arrangements

Financial loans for room renovation, subsidies for home renovation, subsidies for rental fees of a newly moved into residence and assistance in securing housing for senior citizens.

Facilities

Tatara-so-Senior Citizen's Recreation Centers With 10 locations in the city, residents of Kawaguchi over 60 years of age can enjoy singing, dancing, recreational activities, reading, lectures or hobby clubs. In addition, advisors make their rounds to Tatara-so centers to offer consultation concerning health and life fulfillment. (Consultation is conducted in Japanese only.)

Life Fulfillment Seminars/Sports Classes

Classes on diet, health maintenance and sports are held and can be enjoyed casually. Details are announced in Koho Kawaguchi, the city bulletin. (All classes are conducted in Japanese.)
